Spider-Man: No Way Home stands as Eighth- Highest Grossing Film in HistorY

Sony’s latest web-slinging Marvel movie grossed 1.53 billion worldwide, claiming the spot as the eighth-highest grossing film ever at the global box office. At the domestic box office this movie has remained a big force on screen despite the spreading variant Omicron of Covid-19. It made $668 million in ticket sales, it’s now the sixth-highest grossing film in history at the domestic box office, surpassing Titanic and Jurassic World. It should take fifth place, while belongs to Avengers: Infinity War and could eventually land in fourth place where Black Panther currently sits at.

The newest Tom Holland- led comic book adaptation has collected a whopping $867.5 million since debuting in December. This American superhero film is based off the character Spider-Man. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far from Home, and the 27th film in the MCU. The MCU Spider-Man films were directed by Sam Raimi and Marc Webb. The return of previous Spider-Man actors Maguire and Garfield were the subject of the wide speculation and a number of leaks despite the efforts of Sony, Marvel, and the cast to conceal their involvement.
