Hannah's Glorious Stint as a College Student

A completely true testimony, I swear!

Ahh, college. I could say a great many things about this place. Though, there's no guarantee that they'd be, you know, true statements. I could say something like this: "Bigfoot is really at Wabash Valley College, and he teaches a secret class in the basement!" and you'd totally believe me (if only because I'm so young and beautiful) only to feel completely betrayed when you find out that I was lying to you. Oh, but that's not what this is about.

During my time here I have mad a handful of very good friends, and, by handful, I mean three. A small handful, really. Of course, I've only been in my major for two semesters, and at the beginning I didn't really talk to anyone. I kept mostly to myself and left the building very promptly when classes were done, like any normal student who would rather be at home than in class. That all changed almost a month into that first semester.

My first actual conversation with my friends happened in the library. I can't really remember what we were talking about, but I certainly remember what we were talking about when we left! I say we, but I really mean I. I remember what I was talking about with my friends: Lord of the Rings fanfiction. It was specifically about the fanfic tropes I like, and I was getting really into it. Like...REALLY into it. I remember yelling about it, I was getting so into it.

That conversation cemented my friendship with these people, and I couldn't have been more glad for it. Of course, that's not the only thing I discovered during my time here. I discovered new things that I'm passionate about, thing's I'm not so passionate about, and I even started working on getting my license!

All in all, even though things got a little... rough towards the end of every semester, I'm still glad to say that I attended classes here. Would I do it again? Well...probably not! I hated being in school and doing schoolwork before and it seems that hasn't changed, but I know for sure that once I get my degree and am able to secure a better paying job, I am not coming back! Sorry, everyone, but I'm ready to be done!

While everyone else made a playlist featuring the "soundtrack to their college career" I'm linking the playlist I listened to the most while studying, which was, of course, my 5 hour long playlist from my middle/early high school emo phase that I haven't added to except pretty recently!
