Shawn Mendes is ready to set out on a world tour in support of his latest album Wonder, the pop star announced on Monday, September 20th.
The 23-year-old singer announced that he was ready to get back onstage by sharing a video of himself dancing solo underneath the spotlight to his global chart hit ”Summer of Love,” which he and Tainy performed at the 2021 MTV VMAs, and “Teach Me How To Love” from Wonder.
Wonder launched at No.1 on the Billboard 200 in December of 2020, earning the Canadian superstar his fourth leader. At the time, he was 22 years, four months and two weeks old, making Shawn the youngest male artist to top the albums chart with four regular studio albums. Shawn also premiered his Netflix Documentary (full title Shawn Mendes: In Wonder), which followed his previous world tour.
He tweeted “Announcing later this week! Can’t wait to get out there and see you all again guys,” later directing his fans to sign up on WonderTheTour.com so they can be the first to find out the official tour dates and access pre-sale information.
