Amazon Pokémon Collaboration | Pokémon25
Pokémon has collaborated with several companies since its anniversary has begun.
McDonald's and Pokémon collaborated with McDonald's Happy Meal. Every Happy Meal contained at least a pack of cards, a coloring page or puzzle, and another specialty item. The possible items included a deck box, 25 stickers for each starter, cardboard and plastic cardholder, or 4 large stickers. Shortly after the release of the Happy Meal, McDonald's announced a limit on the amount an individual could purchase. McDonald's enforced the limitation because fans were purchasing the meals and cards in bulk.
Pokémon and General Mills cereal collaborated to include three cards inside each box of cereal. The four different cereal types included Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, and Trix. Similar to McDonald's Happy Meals, Pokémon fans purchased the boxes in bulk.
Amazon and Pokémon collaborated to have exclusive items sold on Amazon's Website. The page contains limited plushies, backpacks, posters, lunch boxes, books, games, toys, figures, apparel, movies, and several different card sets.
The McDonald's collaboration ended, but the other two are still running.
